Vera Arbuzova Biography
Notable: Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg
Vera Arbuzova graduated from the State Ballet School in Krasnoyarsk, Russia in 1992. The same year she joined Boris Eifman Ballet Theater in St. Petersburg. After only 18 months in the corps de ballet she got her first solo part as The Girl in the ballet Illusions. The first role that was created for her was Mercedes in a unique version of Don Quixote.
Her repertoire includes main parts in the following ballets by Boris Eifman:

- Woman (Requiem)
- Fairy (Pinocchio)
- Nadezhda von Meck (Tchaikovsky)
- Giselle (Giselle)
- Mercedes and Doctor (Don Quixote or Fantasies of a Madman)

- Ballerina (Red Giselle)
- Empress (Russian Hamlet)
- Armanda and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni and Moliere)
- Lynn (Who Is Who)
Awards:
- Laureat of the Golden Sophit in 1997 for her Grushenka in The Karamozovs
- Diploma of the 1st Diaghilev Festival in Moscow
- Honored Artist of Russia
