Notable: Born 1924; Royal Ballet
Violetta Elvin was born in Moscow 1924. Graduated from Bolshoi School 1942. Became soloist with the Bolshoi 1944. Married an English writer and moved to England 1945. Joined Sadler’s Wells Ballet and was teached by Vera Volkova.
