Irma Nioradze Biography

Irma Nioradze was born in Tbilisi (Georgia). She graduated from Tbilisi School of Ballet and then studied at the Vaganova Ballet Academy (class Prof. Tatiana Udalenkova). In 1988 she joined the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, and then in 1992 she joined the Mariinsky Theatre, where she became principal in 1992.
