Izabela Sokolowska was born in 1984 in Gdansk, Poland. She received her training at the National Ballet School in Gdansk and was assigned to the Corps de Ballet at the Royal Danish Theatre in 2002, and promoted to soloist in 2005.

Repertoire includes:

Title role in Caroline Mathilde, Irma in Abdallah, Nausikaa in The Odyssey, Clara in The Nutcracker, the Student in The Lesson, Elisa in Le Conservatoire, Senorita in La Ventana and Edvard in Far from Denmark. She has furthermore performed in La Sylphide, Napoli, The King’s Volunteers on Amager, The Kermesse in Bruges, A Folk Tale, Manon, Vers un Pays Sage, Digital Secrets, Serenade, Piano Concerto No. 2, In the Middle Somewhat Elevated, Etudes and The Little Mermaid.
